Dram led red no post. Feb 13, 2024 · I just upgraded cpus from a ryzen 3 3100x to a ryzen 5 5600 and it won’t post. May 25, 2020 · The main problem is that the DRAM LED light is solid red; all other lights are off; There is no display on the screen and keyboard/mouse are not lighting up. Any ideas ??? SPECS I5 6600K GTX 1070 TI ASUS Z170-A TEAM ELITE An orange LED blinked for like 8 minutes and then stopped, as it should I guess. Let’s dive right in. Also tried BIOS version F6, no success. Dec 8, 2022 · I have no experience with AM5/DDR5 (yet - ref: budgets ), but I’m surprised that the single stick doesn’t work in slot 2. I know (from designing hardware with DDR3 and scanning the DDR5 specs) that signal termination is necessary at the end of the PCB traces, which would be the furthest memory slot. I think it’s the light for RAM - try seating a single ram on 2 - if you notice the printed labels are a little offset (4 lights but they arnt right above the printed correspondence- CPU is on and DRAM is 2).
